Am I a mushroom? Am I a nem? I've thought (and was told) mushroom this whole time, but the longer the tentacles get, the more I wonder. No mushroom I've searched looks like this. He's the sole survivor from my first reef attempt, 3 years ago, so obviously the answer is not an emergency or will change what I do... But I'm still curious. Thanks!!

Rhodactis indosinensis

Mine have changed appearance a couple times over the last 3 years depending on what’s going on in the tank. I’ve had them big fat and floppy. I’ve had long sweeping tentacles. I’ve had tight buttons that go deep green and purple.

Oh yes!! Those are gorgeous!!! Mine curls up, too. I call it his "pout". He's so happy in the new place, though, I'm hoping he splits off. He has folds in his skirt, so I was hopeful.
