I am adding a display fuge and a frag tank to my system. My flow rate is going to be around 1000gph through the system. Water will flow from the display to the fuge. The fuge will be a 20x20x20 rimless tank. The fuge will sit directly next to the frag tank. The frag tank will be a 60G frag tank 48x24x13. The fuge and the frag tank will sit on the same stand 2 inches from each other. The frag tank will drain into the main sump directly underneath the frag and Fuge tanks. I am trying to figure out how to have the fuge tank overflow into the frag tank. I am not afraid of a DIY option or bulk heads with pipes. Noise isnt an issue and looks isnt an issue either. This is all in the basement. Im tempted to buy a eshopps eclipse 1000 gph overflow and call it a day but id rather see if i can save some money and do something with pipes and bulkheads and maybe a weir.
I would prefer to have one full siphon and one Durso stand pipe to keep noise tolerable when in the basement. It doesn't need to be silent but i shouldn't hear it when I'm not in the basement either! I am not sure how to do a bulk head and pipe overflow with a full siphon and Durso overflow with out draining most of the tank out in a power outtage.
I included some drawings of the layout.
