Need help with Chaeto, can’t seem to get it to grow.

Hey everyone, looking for some insight for growing chaeto in my sump seems like every time I’ve tried it’s ended up almost like disintegrating. Ive had all my parameters checked multiple times at my LFS, everything came back perfect except my nitrates which are at about 25. Am I doing something wrong? I have some pics here for reference. Any help is appreciated. Tank is around 2.5 years running.

Iron should help. What is your phosphates?

The chaeto will tend to use up some of your trace elements and then starve. Like DED65 said, iron is one of the main ones. I dose Chaeto-gro and it seems to take care of what is needed.

Cheato gro. I usually only need it the first few weeks to get things to take off.

Hey, phosphates at 0-0.03, salifert test was done.
