Need help with AquaticLife Smart Buddie Booster Pump (50-100 GPD)

Hello, my booster pump is no longer working. When I turn it on, it only keeps flashing the blue light on top. No sound from it.

I can’t find anywhere what those lights mean. I wrote to Aquatic Life (and tried to call) but they are closed until Monday.

This is very problematic as I need it to make RODi.

I run that pump but have never had an issue so can not help. Just chiming in because if you need rodi now maybe bypass the pump and it will be slower but you can get water. My pressure is only 40psi without the pump but it will make water at that pressure.

I know but I have no idea how to rebuild it. I can look at pictures but there is a piece that goes on top that I’m not even sure I still have,

This sucks. I will have to carry buckets of water up the stairs again. I left the LFS a message, hoping he can send me a new one fast and exchange mine under warranty. I don’t have much hope though.

I decided to pay someone to bypass the booster pump and reinstall the filter as it was. We’re going to try and keep it going upstairs. Even if it takes twice the time without the booster pump, at least I won’t be carrying buckets. That’s worth a little money, I think.

Still not repaired as we speak. It’s been a nightmare trying to get answers from the manufacturer, the distributor and the seller. Caught between them and not much moving.

They want me to send the pump to the seller for testing (LFS), so I have to do that.

At least I have water now that the guy hooked it up for me. It takes 4 hours to get 6-7 gallons, but hey, I’ll take it !
