So i have a 90gallon display with a 40 gallon sump, currently running about 100 gallons of total water.
My sump doesnt have any more room for a refugium and the way i had to mount my lights, i dont have any room or a HOB refugium.
I currently have a 10 gallon right next to my 90 gallon, that ive been using to farm pods and asterina stars. Currently have just pods and asterina in the 10 gallon, with live rock and aragonite substrate. I just had an idea, to try and find a way to add it into my system, but i do not know how to do it.
I would like for it to be easily done, where if needed i could easily disconnect it from my 90 gallon system and have it run on its on as a hospital system if needed.
How could i go about adding it into my system?
Can i just add a pump and some tubing to get the water to circulate from my sump and into the external 10 gallon and then back into my sump?
If i do that, then how do i control the water level within the 10 gallon refugium?
I know it could be done, i am just not smart enough for it lol.
