I use a Canon Digital Rebel XT and ever since I upgraded to a 150w 14k Phoenix all my pics come out "blue" I've played with the settings over and over and just can't figure it out. I have PhotoShop but never really played with it enough to be any good with it.

I'll give a couple examples.

IMG_4388.jpg

This was shot at ISO-800, f/6.3, and exposure 1/320 sec according to picture properties and the subject is at the bottom of the tank

IMG_4347.jpg

This was shot at ISO-800, f11, and exposure 1/125 at a subject about 3 inches under the surface of the water next to the light

Any help with fixing the blue cast to the pictures would be greatly appreciated!

Did you try setting the white balance on the camera? Find something white in the tank, or put a piece of white pvc in the tank, and manually set the white balance against that.

ISO, Aperture, and shutter speed having nothing to do with White balance. If you want an easy fix that comes close, set your white balance to "Shade", then you can skip the step in Adobe.

You could also set a custom WB, read the manual that came with the camera, it is INCREDIBLY easy to set, but difficult to explain.

While you are playing with the white balance, try all of them! It will help you learn what they do.
