My discosoma dropped himself onto a 5mm hole in a rock, I didn't notice any hole under him so I left him there. So now he went THROUGH this hole and is upside down in the space under the hole. But he is much bigger than the hole. Its a small space and the discosoma is upside down for already 2 days. I tried to carefully blow him out with a turkey baster but nothing seems to move him anymore. Will my mushroom ever get out and/or turn around and survive? What to do?

How to know when it dies?

Instead of blowing with the baster, can you try to suck and grab a piece and gently coerce it out? Will the baster reach it?
Thats impossible, the hole is like 5-8mm but the mushroom has a diameter of at least 2cm when its NOT stretched, so as a ball. The space under the hole looks like the same size as the mushroom.

I had the same thing happen to a ricordea and figured it was lost forever. I let it be and somehow the mushroom found its way to the light and out of the hole all by itself.
Thats great! You think this can also appen if its stuck and upside down?

In my opinion if it got there it can get out. Doesn’t mean it will, but it should be able to. On the other side, if you can siphon it out with a smaller diameter hose you might get it out. Even if you get it out in two pieces, I believe they can both survive. Many frag these by cutting into pieces.

Going after it will stress and force it even more into hole. Lower light and even the white, drop a tiny amount of food into hole and it will work its way out in search of more and light
