Annnnd… that’s a freshwater light. Not saltwater. I nearly killed every coral in my tank with a light like that. Also, not to be rude/mean, but you’re using the worst test kit on the planet. I was also hoping you could test for PO4, salinity, and temperature.

Temp I have a thermometer I put in there. It's at 76.4 F. Salinity 1.023. Is there a kit youd recommend. And am I ok to run this light till Monday. Return it and get a new one.

Bring salinity to 1.024, for a Cindy anemone that light is adequate but the store misled you on lighting needs and you need more reliable than test strips to manage tank and anemone

Your salinity is low. It should be 1.025-1.026. And I just recommended Salifert brand tests. The temperature could be higher, 78-80, but 76 will be good enough. Waiting on the light should be fine.

What light would you recommend on a budget to at least run till payday.

So bring salinity up and bring temp up a small notch and get actual saltwater light. Other then that are there any obvious mistakes anyone could point out to me I could be making. And from what I read on Google this anemone can't be hosted is that true?

I’ve seen clowns host condys at my LFS. I would recommend either the Fluval Marine or AI Blade bar light. The Fluval is cheaper, but not suited for SPS if you plan to grow that.

This anemone is ornamental. Not really a host anemone but a couple of decades ago and at my LFS, domino damsels will not hesitate to go into a Cindy anemone

This light is sufficient for a condy anemone, just not too bright or see if you can trade it in on an ai prime or hydra 26/32 light

So this morning when I woke up I turned on the light and noticed the bristle worm next the the anemone. Now I've read they are both scavengers and can eat anemones on Google. So I'm wondering if that the reason he's shrinking and hiding is the bristle eating it? I did noticed fish eggs around his tentacles where the bristle was could he have been eating those?

Condylactis will host the spotted cleaner shrimp (Periclimenes yucatanicus).
