Hey everyone I'm documenting the journey of my waterbox 25 gallon peninsula reef in my college dorm. I have been reefing for about 4 years but still consider myself a novice as I only really began getting serious about the hobby recently. I am enjoying the ride and I welcome any advice/comments you may have.

Tank started: Feb 1 2023 with ~10 lbs of fully cycled mature live rock

Almost all of the rock is rubble in the back chamber, I went with a DIY frag setup for this tank, might change or edit later on

Return - 240gph lifegard dc

Flow - Hygger 1600gph wavemaker AC (max flow is more like 500gph, I have it on constant stream at full power)

Lighting - (1) Ai Prime 16HD

ATO - Tunze Osmolater 5155 auto top off

Heater - Eheim 100w on Inkbird temp controller

Filtration - stock waterbox filter sock (I believe its 100 micron), ROX 0.8 carbon mixed with Seachem Phosguard inside of a recycled chemipure bag (it holds ROX great), and some polyfill in the return chamber to protect the pump as well as further polish the water

Food - Aquavitro fuel amino acids (will be switching to Redsea AB Plus once I run out)
Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef flakes, Reef Nutrition TDO Chromaboost pellets,
Hikari frozen mysis (switching to LRS once I run out)

Salt - Classic Instant Ocean orange box

I'm using a combo of Hanna checkers and Red Sea test kits alongside a refractometer

I have a Jebao dosing pump but am not sure if Im going to do that instead of just doing regular water changes.

I also plan on adding a refugium as well as a Reef Octopus 100 HOB protein skimmer (which I already own)
