Hello, can someone help me with dosing?

currently my molybdenum level is 0.0111 mg/l

I would like to reach the level of 0.025
Can anyone tell me how to dose 1400 liters? maybe Randy? Thank you!!!

#1 is 40% molybdenum by weight
#2 is 32.5% manganese by weight

#1 Dissolve 1 gram in 1000 mL RO/Di. Concentration is 400 mg/L or 0.4 mg/mL. Adding 1 mL per 100 gallons boosts molybdenum by 0.4 mg/378 L = 0.0011 mg/L (1.1 ug/L). Scale to what you want to dose (maybe 10 mL per 100 gallons)

#2 Dissolve 1 gram in 1000 mL RO/Di. Concentration is 325 mg/L or 0.325 mg/mL. Adding 1 mL per 100 gallons boosts molybdenum by 0.325 mg/378 L = 0.0009 mg/L (0.9 ug/L). Scale to what you want to dose (maybe 2 mL per 100 gallons)

From the DIY Chemistry sticky thread

IF 1 GRAM IN 1000 LITERS OF RODI

RAISES MOLYBDENUM IN 378 LITERS BY 0.0011

I WANT TO RAISE IN 1400 LITERS BY 0.017

SO I HAVE TO ADD 16 ML, IT WILL INCREASE IN 378 LITERS BY 0.0176
MAM 1400/ 378 = 3.7
3.7 X 16 ML = 59 ML

Reasons WELL?
I get 59 ml

Thank you!

Yes, 59 mL is correct, though your first sentence should be 100 L, not 1000 L.

Or…

If you make up a solution of 2.522 g/l sodium molybdate then it’s 1ml per 1000l to raise Mo by 1 mcg/l. Slightly easier to do the maths with the stronger solution.
