Mystery Snails Reproducing??

So I started seeing these snails a few weeks ago after a shipment from TBS.. they have a very low profile shell and are pinkish in color.
This morning I noticed a bunch of them gathered on the top of my rocks and were apparently *cough cough* reproducing?!
Can someone confirm if these are good for the tank?

I wonder if they’ve done this before… a few weeks back I checked on the tank at night and saw a bunch of tiny creatures swimming. Clearly not pods. Looked like a larve of some kind. Searching on here made me think it was possible hermit crab larve but now I’m wondering if it was these guys.
