this little guy was hiding behind the rocks at FAOIS, in the front tank with the sexy shrimp.. i would of gladly paid 25-30$ for it, but to my surprise it was only 12$! perfect addition for my invert tank and i havent seen them sold anywhere else besides online.. FAOIS always gives me great deals on some awesome stuff!

Great find! I absolutely love pompom's! I've had mine for over a year and he still looks as cheery as ever.

nice pickup! for $12 that's a steal!! looks like a very healthy bugger too! yeah seems like smaller nems (esp aptasia) can't die/ even if you trample on them that only creates more. haha sorry, an aptasia rave party just started up in my tank.

Same here. That article was the first thing I thought of when I read your post. He literally tore that nem in half. Tells us how durable nems can be huh.

definitely, those little nems are so kool.. i cant recall what they were called but im going to have to re-read that article later..

Sweet pickup for a great price PomPom crabs are really cool looking!!! Congrats and nice pics!!

thanks bro!

12$ was a great price when he told me that i wanted to get 2! but i only saw 1 in there.. =/ but i also bought a peppermint for 2$ from coral corral before that! and i threw him in my dads tank when i got home so i can get all of the aptasia off his coral and rocks, and i just took a look and half of it is already gone.. he was well worth the 2$ =]

good pictures. Very neat little crab. Unfortunately one of those would get lost in my tank.

Very nice find! Is he out a lot or does stay mostly hidden during the day?

I don't know about keeping two in a tank.. how big is your tank? if its long enough I think it would be fine. Each crab could have its own half of the tank..

I may have to make trip out to faois soon..
Which do you prefer CC or FAOIS?

Thanks!
