Hopefully more reliable than one
Nothing's more reliable than a Chevy. Garage Floor or Trailer Bed, nothing keeps dust off like General Motors.

If by reliability were talking guaranteed to break then yes, they're reliable!

I drive GM currently, and most of my vehicles have been GM, hubs drives Ford and honestly, way better long term. He just broke 300k on his diesel truck. We've had it since 45k and it's been the most reliable truck we've had. My GM on the other hand... Well it gets fixed a lot.

55-74 was a different era in automobiles altogether. I had a 67 galaxie that you couldn't kill with silver bullets and a wooden stake. the 289 was a superior motor in almost every way.

Yes, I'm certainly referring to more modern crap GM. Everything older was solid. Even the mid 80s- 90s Chevy trucks were better than the junk they're putting out now.

Currently driving a 2010 escalade and you wouldn't believe the list of broken or not working. And I looked at at least 15, maybe 20 different ones before I settled with this one. But I need the seats and space. Really wanted a diesel excursion but those are hard to find. Still looking for one though and we'll do an engine swap for the newer 6.7 engines. Cuz that's the fun that hubs likes to do.
