Yeah, dealing with wildfires is no bueno. Two years ago had a wildfire spring up about a football field away from our house at the top of a hill leading into the hiking trails. Flames were easily jumping 10-20ft high. Me and neighbors were all standing outside watching and wondering what next--we are trapped in that area because the only way out is a road right next to the fire. Super bottleneck. Fire Dept knows this. Before flame started coming down the hill, two airplanes and two helicopters arrived dropping flame retardant, put it out quick. Only non-residential side of the hill was burnt up. Horrible what's happening in Hawaii.
