If I have corralline algae on some rocks. Would it help to frag it?

As a means to get it throughout the tank faster.

Chip off and re seed. Random thought. I know if will eventually get there but thinking
just scrub it with a toothbrush will work...

lack of water changing is the culprit. Due to low nutrients and the dinos.

the eye opening part is hannah was testing my calcium around 400-450. eek. need to double check my testing there.
Iodine is especially good for Gonis from my understanding.

ah coffee time now..I am gonna try and write this so not to make anyone mad or hurt anyones feelings,,,not my intention. .I came here this morning to play catch up on like 15 pages...I started to read and then skipped to here(the end page (2544) as I see it seems normal again......I am glad I was away for a few days to miss what ever was going on, I don't have time for that. I come here to chat w friends and see pic of coral, dogs , buring fires and other life stuff... Working on the patio got me tired and passed out early last few nights...They started the metal roof...here is a pic... Hope you all have a good day...

Not a great start to the morning... I noticed the larger raccoon butterflyfish in the QT was hanging out mostly in a corner yesterday, but still swam around normally every once in a while. Other than being a bit skinny, I could not see any signs of disease.

This morning, it was laying sideways against the sponge filter and breathing heavily, only to die within about 20 minutes of my arrival at work.

At least the smaller one seems to be doing great and will be transferred into the 40B this evening.

Even "easy" butterflyfish are troublesome for beginners, I think.

Hey tbrown... I want to share what I found out from a guy who had really nice goni's...He said he also dosed manganese..I started dosing Aquaforest Manganum for a month now...I been seeing improvements in my pink ones...
I read that the other day. Manganese is also good for certain colors in some Acros I believe. I need to look into that I just hate dosing what I can't test for.

agree thats why i dont dose iodine. because i dont have a test for it currently. Was getting it with water changes. but i stopped with the dinos issue.
