I was looking at this tank specifically actually. I got more pictures and the glass looked hazy or really scratched up top. Also the guy has had it for sale for a really long time, so me and the hubs assumed there must be something about it that is making it not sell, because at that price with goodies, I think it should have sold by now. I decided to pass on it, we even set a date to come get it, but after we started communication he got really pushy to get it right away, which kinda made me worried about what else was wonky.I'm probably far far behind here but my wife said no to this one.Is this what you are looking for?
Man! I should make a bunch of these to sell to those cheap turds 'round here that ask for paint and dent repairs but then have no money and tell me can't I use duct tape, bailing twine and house paint?!

I'll keep looking anyways just never know what is out thereSo I obviously didn't explain the full cost of an upgrade. Hubs just got the quick version of I need this much for a new tank. But of course didn't mention any other upgrade required like possibly new lights, or just more of the the same type, pumps, maybe sump if it isn't included, more rock, list goes on....
So this is why I initially looked at used since I can make best use of my budget, maybe get some extra things with it, have more money left over for rock or coral.
But my hubs likes new things. He would rather me get a new tank so I don't later complain about things like scratched glass... Ask me how he knows, lol.
However, new prices are scary and since he has ZERO interest in my hobby and it's all money in and never coming back, it's a hard sell. Large chunks of cash usually get turned into projects to sell, example: currently we have a few project trucks that need built engines, and if we build those trucks and sell them we can make a good 10k of just profit on each truck.
But he didn't say no..... And I showed him the glass cages tank......
I've seen a few decent tanks in Boise too, but still a little high for used, me thinks.I'll keep looking anyways just never know what is out there
