Happy Turkey day eve......everyone....I will be up at 4am...to start the smoker and put one of the birds in it, which I am going to smoke in alder and maple wood. I am going to smoke some butter with bourbon in it to use as injection liquid...the other bird is going in the oven...

That sounds pretty good, but I'm gonna sleep in, relax, then dump this bird in 365F peanut oil for 40 minutes and call it a day

So I got a turkey fish for Thanksgiving! Ok maybe not, but he’s a fish that might end up being a turkey.

Do a little butter and cajun spice and literally 2 minutes tops in the oil.

Turkey. Favorite side, well that’s a tough one. Candied yams and corn casserole have to be tied for first place. I don’t know if stuffing cooked in the bird counts as a side for this poll but if it does then it’s my favorite.
