You just want my wife to kill me instead of your wife killing you.Do it!
Ok I guess I’m just nuts…Whichever of you ate my green digitata (new hermit crab here’s looking at you kid) better hide. You never know when a lunare wrasse might get ya….
Admittedly I put the hermit crab I bought yesterday in a pile of GHA near the green digi. He got on the rock the digi was on and ate a good chunk of GHA nearby. The lights went off and I went to bed. When I got up I found the coral was knocked down, thankfully it was right side up. When I picked it up I saw bare skeleton.
Usually hermits only go after dead or dying corals, but this one had perfect polyp extension and no signs of dying when the lights went off. I think they get so little food that at the LFS that they’re desperate. This one definitely was.
When they get irritated they can look almost dead/bleached.Ok I guess I’m just nuts…
I’ve never seen it closed before so I assumed it had been eaten. Lesson learned.
Yeah, me too,but I skip work out and shower partMy favorite is getting up early on a weekend, working out, showering, and crawling right back into bed until noon.
It’s on my bucket list to try elk and bear. We don’t have too many elk though here in Illinois that I know of.
I've had bear jerky before. Interesting flavor. Problem with bear is it tends to taste like what it eats (just like anything else I suppose) so you want one that's had a good variety of forest forage rather than one living close to town eating out of garbage cans or one that's been eating a lot of dead stuff. It’s on my bucket list to try elk and bear. I love venison however I’m no hunter. I like to fish though. My problem is that I couldn’t hit the side of barn. Maybe I’ll try for a hunting license eventually but I’d need some serious training.Same with elk and deer (and beef). Free range cattle here in Arizona eat a lot of desert sage and taste very sagey. Deer that eat acorns taste better than deer that eat scrub brush.
Start with birds and shotguns.I love venison however I’m no hunter. I like to fish though. My problem is that I couldn’t hit the side of barn. Maybe I’ll try for a hunting license eventually but I’d need some serious training.
mmm bird stewStart with birds and shotguns.
Grouse, duck and wild turkey are good eating. I don’t know if hunters can still take pheasants but I’ve had it a few times many moons ago. They’re good eating too but I think they’re protected now. I’ll have to research that.Start with birds and shotguns.
