I assume you have a harlequin?
Not currently but I’m considering one eventually. In the meantime they’re awesome clean up crew. I’ll take all I can right now. When my 90 cracked at the bottom I lost a lot of my worms, asterinas, and the like. Their numbers are coming back up but I only had a handful of asterinas left. Now I have two handfuls.

Sorry for the absence! I was up north at a Men's Church Retreat and we had 0 service.
Most good retreat spots have low or no service. I hope you enjoyed it.

Fwiw, you will need a TON of stars (more than you think you do) and/or source for ongoing additions. I had one for a while but ended up rehoming it after I got tired of having to hunt down other hobbyists who would catch some from their tanks for me and/or buying chocolate chip starfish to feed it. (Mine got big enough that I was buying a choc. chip every 2 weeks!)

Not trying to dissuade you, just hope you manage your expectations :)

It was a good time with a bunch of great guys. They picked it specifically for the lack of cell service.

My gluteus maximus is tired and sore (wanted to say from being bent over or on my knees all day, but some of you people have dirty minds :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: )

Only one room left to pull up old flooring in… pretty good progress for just 2 days… painting should commence on Tuesday, pick up new flooring on Thursday, installed by Sunday evening. Projected move in date is 23 Sept, once in the house will start setting up the fish room for the new tank (hopefully picking up on 14 Oct ;), wife’s gonna kill me). Didn’t get a lot of before pics, but so far have removed carpet from 3 rooms, old laminate floor from 1 large room and a hallway and scraped all the 1974 era vct tile from all of the above rooms…have 1 room left with laminate and most likely vct left to go…sorry, pics are not in any particular order

Yo check this out. Posted on my thread but this is the hangout spot let's be real.

These specs on glass in fuge are individual huts each amphipod made. Super weird behavior I have never seen.

We did that at our old house then learned some of those tiles may or may not be asbestos. Super fun crunching them up off the floor

Look out, they may have evolved and are about to create a civilization and take over your home, lol

Mine may or may not be old asbestos tile, thing is, as long as you don’t grind them up into a powder and snort them, they are relatively harmless ;)

I love asterinas admittedly. If I can’t get a harlequin I’m not going to sweat it.

The acclimation is done, the frags glued to their rocks, and they’re pretty much positioned where they’re going to be.

Here are some images I took. The first ones were taken with the halides on.

The next images are of course under my lone working actinic T5. That’ll get remedied soon however.
