It was cool to ride around with ya. Got in way too late to do much last night. Got everything floating and hit hay. Realized I'm out of pest dips so have to grab some this morning.

I'll throw some pics up later.

Teaser and that's a Big can.

So torch and hammer and octo peeps, I have a question..... I have this octo-something (I forget), and it's doing well, and growing. Infact, has now started growing this extra bit on the right side. First it was just loose flowy flesh, but I just touched it again and it's a freakin' hard skeleton now. Is it self propagating? Is that how it does it? I thought the process was different... That bit there on the side is totally separate on the skeleton but connected with polyps and flesh on top. Super weird.

I’ve seen both… it’s more normal for the heads to pinch then become 2… but I have seen new branches like yours sprout also although it’s not as common.

it was definitely a surprise that it was forming a skeleton, not what i expected. Will it eventually detach from the top?

Nope. It'll just grow out like a branch.

Most of my frogs and hammers do this. I've got one hammer with 20+ budding heads.

Good evening /night everyone... :)
Was an interesting day today to say the least , started out finding old "petrified" oak limb shattered in middle of the road, from the storms last night , was like a ghost town today ,
stopped in middle of road loaded what I can use in stove , pushed the rest out of road
next down to local car guy ,front end going out in truck , good guy, had an idea...:thinking-face:
they put it up ,we figured out what parts were needed,
offered him my van "barely used tires" & a 2nd set of brand new tires and rims.
Bossman had left, so no reply yet, or estimate either , looking at that as a good sign...;)
than stopped at local uhaul/ electronics guy, b s'ed for a lil while ,sold me 5 50' rolls of 3/8" guy wire for 5$...:smiling-face-with-sunglasses:
Exact size needed for stove pipe stabilizing ...:)
