Not sure what it is... sorry not much help.So torch and hammer and octo peeps, I have a question..... I have this octo-something (I forget), and it's doing well, and growing. Infact, has now started growing this extra bit on the right side. First it was just loose flowy flesh, but I just touched it again and it's a freakin' hard skeleton now. Is it self propagating? Is that how it does it? I thought the process was different... That bit there on the side is totally separate on the skeleton but connected with polyps and flesh on top. Super weird.

it was definitely a surprise that it was forming a skeleton, not what i expected. Will it eventually detach from the top?
