The rest of the bees are swarming or the are under attack by robbers. Yikes what is next? We cleaned out thousands of dead bees from the hive and spotted a queen and new brood. I guess we just have to see what develops in the next couple days.

I am so sorry. That is the worst way to lose them. I'm not 100% but as long as the queen is ok and you have brood you should be OK. But depending on the timing there may not be enough workers to raise the brood that's getting laid. Robbing after a loss like that is likely due to not enough bees to defend. I would condense the hive if you can so there is less for them to worry about. That way there isn't anything to rob. Then if you need and can feed them. Maybe if you have a weak hive combine the two. You still have a laying queen and that's 99% of the battle you just need to give her some new workers to replace the one she lost.
There is nothing you did wrong. You can cover the hive with a wet towel to deter the robbing but it may be past that. Good luck. I am truely sorry this happened.

Heard from TBS, they didn't like that Delta gave them the switcheroo on dates either, but I think they'll be able to have it switched to fly out SaltLakeCity's airport tomorrow instead of the 3rd. It should be landing in SLC soon, so only hanging out there a day. That's much better than 3 days. Hopefully I'll get a non-rancid box tomorrow then. TBS has been awesome with responses though.

Great looking nems.

And a question for ya, mine seems happy, but when looking at past pictures when I first got it, the color was amazing, super vibrant, very "rainbow", but now it's just a basic soft rose color. Is it slowly fading away? Not enough light? I've been increasing, slowly. I'm at about 180 par where the bta is. No stretching really, and once it moved here it hasn't moved again.

When I bought it: no filter

Light spectrum has the most to do with that in my opinion. In terms of par bta seem happy in anything over 100. Has it grown in size since you got it?
Some get huge and don't split often. Like dinner plate size. Others stay small and split often.
I think it looks healthy and has adjusted to your light spectrum.

I know with some corals (SPS mainly?) that water quality and specific minerals can cause color shifting. Is there a possibility of that with Nems too?

I would assume so.
