If I may offer some advice, leave them alone..
Treatment is still going. Until they get back to a healthy nem response. I moved the half because it was detached. And getting ready to move. It turns the foot into a baloon for lift off. So, I gave that half a clean rock. Settled fine.If I may offer some advice, leave them alone..
It likely was a stress split up front. Given they were already not in great health, moved to a treatment tank. Getting daily water changes, Those are all big stress events. I bet dollars to donuts. It wasn't ready to split but stress split it. Give them time to recover. If you are not antibiotic dosing anymore, there is no requirement for the daily water changes. Let them heal, then move them back.
Giggle got em.
Or you hit 10 days straight. That's a full and longer antibiotic cycle than is usually needed. Don't want to tempt antibiotic resistance. Ongoing use after 10 days canTreatment is still going. Until they get back to a healthy nem response.

Why not take them both through the entire treatment together and move them both back to the display once healthy? Or am I missing something?I'd like to get the other nem out and back into the display. But, that will be based on the other half of the inferno.
There's a large monti on the rock with the original bta. I'm not sure if it could also contribute to irritation of the nems. Why not take them both through the entire treatment together and move them both back to the display once healthy? Or am I missing something?

Thoughts?
Good enough point.Nem wins that fight and is capable of moving away. I wouldn't consider that a likely scenario.

That is Generally how they walk, yes. Inflate one part of the foot, set it down, detach the back and walk it up. If they don't want to walk they will just inflate and roll around.

My biggest issue with treatment was an improper reef light. After I saw them looking like a puddle of filaments, i went to remove only to see firm flesh and no stench.Im learning so much.
