Do you guys have any suggestions for lps that do great in 180 to 220+ par? Trying to create some movement where mostly sps will be.
Hammers, torches, gonis, I'd keep away from octospawn. They make nukes and send them off to annihilate anything they land on. Never had that issue with frogspawns.

Lps with movement... that also doesnt get mean.. how do you feel about blastomussa? They can go up to 225. Takes a bit.

Honestly, i believe most lps can get up to 225 with acclimation. But more light slows down growth.

Edit: hammers are my most favorite, the colors can be insane and they dont command the space as torches or frogspawn do. Their sweepers can extend a fair bit. Nothing compared to torches, gonis and frogs. Plus, hammers can offer great movement and have a couple of diifferent shapes, anchor and round. I want a gold anchor branch.

Still no reef tank.....

I know I'm Lost, but you're confused.

One normally fills the Reef tank first, Then the frag tank home slice.
Yea well the reef tank hit a snag so im just making do for now unfortunately...but will get it done thats for sure. Have still a lot going on with some family things but have never been the selfish type have always helped out my family cause when i needed it they were def there for me.

So far the torch loves around 180ish par. My Goni started bleaching at around 160 but I think that was just that specific Goni as I know so many who have their gonis/Alves/Bernards in the 170, 190 ranges.

Next to acros? Some places will be in 250+. I’m talking prime acro territory.

Blastos? Never thought of them as high light lovers. I’ll consider them. Though, high flow? They don’t add too much movement though.

Could some softies like Gorgos work alongside acros?

These are areas I’m referring to plus some more on the other side of the tank. The larger area circled is about a foot and half across

Alveopora is another good option.

Micromussa can do well in higher PAR. So can some Favias and Acans but they tend to have sweepers.

The Acans I’ve bought haven’t liked high light.

Favias are great! Though again I’m looking for movement

How about rock flower nems? 150-250. I don't know if they like high flow or not.

And blastos dont love high light. Mine are under 250 par, the new blasto is sitting at 175. As far as flow goes, gonis and torches are going to enjoy that more. Hammers wont puff up as much, but they can handle some high random flow

I still think gonis/alvi will be the best bet.
Edit: my only gorg i had was in low flow. I have no experience with them. Other than 1 corky gorg.

The only problem with this would be I already have a spot for a Goni/Alve/Bernard garden, so then I would need to move them. I mean I could, but it wouldn’t function as big as a garden as I intend
