As weird as this is, I've never known blastomussa welsi to be a coral killer. Vivida might just be capable of it.
Fragging the little porites later today, it's being slowly killed by the vivida.

I never had an aggressive blasto. This time is a bit strange.
Anyhow fragged the booger and it's on it's own rock.
Copperband.... Attacked the clown tang 3 times just now.. I know the cbb is male, and I believe the clown is male. The cbb had attacked the solar wrasse before, but nothing extreme. This is not going to be pretty..

I boxed tomini when it went after the flame angel. But then I introduced a bigger tank mate and lots more before releasing.

I don't have an acclimation box, and the clown tang is closing in on 4". I don't want to set the 60g up. And I refuse to move the cbb with their more delicate nature. I won't be able to catch the clown with a net, he's still capable of snuggling rockwork in a cave.

Anytime the clown gets into a scuffle with the scopas, the cbb goes into assault mode. Spines flare up and directed to the clown.

I made mine out of egg crate. It was completely ugly and rigged. But it worked and stopped the headache. I put the aggressive fish in the cage and let the little guy run free .

This situation has 2 things going on, cbb is the dominate male. May be delicate by nature, but those dorsal spines are dangerous. The clown going into a box.. is only going to keep the clown from getting killed by the ccb.

Have you tried yelling at the cbb? Telling him he's bad and he won't get dinner and will have to sleep with no mattress?

They're both asdonkies. I should have went with a hippo. Much more peaceful.

I was just going to add. There is a point we do 2 things. Follow the rules or accept the consequences. If he wants to continue to anger the cbb, he can suffer and die.
I don't have the engery to pamper his fins. I'll endure the headache

Cbb is a perfect fish. He can keep that clown on the run

Well the big hammer colony got a haircut im so sad right now. I had a spaghetti looking type sponge growing under him for awhile and wasnt a big issue until today today he didnt open up at all had the spong basically put him in a choke hold it was completely covered all over the base and skeletal....had to cut him into three pieces just to scrub it off but we will see what tomorrow brings all base parameters are spot on. Everything else in the tank has been looking amazing even today but that sponge just was spiraled and twisted and everywhere i didnt grab a picture of before but here is an after....maybe now it will thrive.
