Back the 80’s I live in Quartzsite for 2 years. I hated it!! Keep in mind, Quartzsite at the time was a small unincorporated town. Population of 500 in the summer and 5000 in the winter (snowbirds) There would be rattlesnakes on my front steps, scorpions everywhere. Everyone had a water storage tank above ground and in the summer if you didn’t have your shower before 10 am the cold water faucet was too hot to shower.

Yep! Back to 7 days a week till Memorial Day..

they won’t pay triple time so we get holidays off and that’s it lol…

Morning all! Pretty typical Saturday for me today. Weed wack, coffee, mow the front lawn, coffee, mow the back lawn, put on some tunes, coffee, coffee, replace the couple lower sections of screens in our lanai while drinking coffee and then a little coffee. Going to be an interesting day though because my neighbor is getting their roof torn off. They started at 6:45 and the dogs have been a little mental since. Looks like they have 8 guys up there so it shouldn’t take too long. Going to be 92 degrees today and these guys work like dogs. If she doesn’t offer them water, and I highly doubt she will, I’ll offer them some.
