Fat pectinia and contest frag right the minor peeling left. Everything else ok. Will check on fish in am. See fox face and purple tang and clown in usual spots at night. Others all hide and I'm not disturbing them with a flash light .
this is normal for night. how about daytime?

So what Hanna should I get? or skip it all? I got the ppm alk used and its easy enough for me to consider getting the nitrate, phosphate, Cal, do they have an Mg?
any recommendations? I plug it all into the Apex so conversion isn't an issue... just number/ease of steps.
I don't mind titrations so maybe stick with Salifert?

Pectinia is fine, but declaring war against anything it can touch. There is someone in there it really wants to kill. Don't worry, it will calm down eventually.

Phosphate ULR Tank water, zero out, regent, Shake 2 mins, HOLD button for count down to test (3mins)
Nitrate HR Tank water, zero out, regent, Shake 2 mins, HOLD button for count down to test (7mins)
Alk (DKH) Tank water, zero out, reagent, tilt a few times, test
Calcium (is annoying because you need to use RODI)

I do in this order.... Nitrate, Phos, Calcium, Alk. Takes 7 minutes total . All recorded in google doc (my DIY apex)

Awesome! thanks for the info! so they're all worth it... no Mg test but that's ok; I don't test that too frequently.
now I know why people get those little stirrers...

I got the salifert because Mg seems to always be there. Barely test for it .

Phosphate ultra low range is easy, Nitrate high range is easy. Calcium and mag are easy enough to titrate and get close which is reasonable for both of them. pH might be a good one, but you already have a probe. Phosphate or phosphorus ULR are the ones I would say are worth it, maybe the Nitrate HR.

I don't see the point in the calcium one honestly. Calcium and magnesium usually I'm looking for a close ballpark, not super accurate readings, just to make sure I'm within range of where I want to be. Alk, pH, and phosphates are a little more accuracy needed, nitrate is good to double check our eyeball readings IMO.
