Had a decent day today. Not as good as yesterday but better than some.

My lady and I went to Peace River Sculpture and Botanical Gardens yesterday. The place was originally part of a private estate. It was really beautiful and coming along nicely even only 5 months after the hurricane and major damage. We got some good ideas for various types of ground covers, plants and trees. They are also hosting a local artist and some of her paintings which were wonderful. I snapped some pics of a few and hope everyone enjoys them as much as we did. Also including a selfie we took because who not!

Those paintings are pretty fantastic.

And the pics don’t really come close to the real colors! As Frank would say, “They were popping’!”

The artist had a studio in a little town called Matlacha, FL. It was completely destroyed in the hurricane. She’s supposed to be opening a new location in Ft. Myers soon. A link to her website is below.
