I use iodide, don't test,don't measure , JME, hard to overdose w iodide.
lugols is better for dipping ...
roger that looks like brightwell has a product. Might as well get that. Value seems pretty good.

and its "on sale" so i cant afford not too right? :D

Same here. I now shop around and usually find a lower price somewhere else that equates more than the 10 I would save using the coupon. Only thing that I buy from them now is T5 bulbs lol.

also. I gotta fix that strip again today.... I wonder if its a bad controller shorting the bulbs? its always the same one burning out.
Could be, or could be that area gets too hot. try thermal paste this time, as opposed to the tape.

Also, put some paste between the board and the heatsink. I forget they lay the boards on the heat sink in a long strip. Thermal paste run the whole way down the heatsink where the board rests should also help move the heat away from the board/LED better.

its the or3 bar yeah 6 ft version. I have 2 of them ive put on the same controller and its always the bar on that controller that burns a bulb. and its in a series so the whole thing goes out.
DO you have a volt meter to measure the mA coming out of the controllers? You can do this and compare to see if one is messed up and overdriving the LEDS.
