So it was a bag of dirt Supposedly around 1,000 killifish eggs included. That’s a lot of they all hatch. I’m having betta nightmare flashbacks. Gunther’s Blue Zanzibar. They will be cute. Killies are jumpers and I was really hoping to have my ten open topped this time. Oh well. Once I culture some green water and a friend send me some decapped I’ll try and hydrate em.

My concern is 3 days in the bag ... I know Bettas are labyrinth fish but 3 days is a long time. I'm not "holding my breath". I hope it's alive and well though!

If packed right it should be fine. Since they are air breathers the most important thing is the air. I’ve bagged many bettas (Wild and domestic strains) one third water to two thirds air and enough to keep fishy submerged in any position of the bag

For what it’s worth when I was showing there was a box of show fish that had gotten lost in transit. The fish was gone for a month! Once he finally made it home he was very mad and a little skinny but otherwise healthy and started flaring for the ladies almost immediately lol. So if he’s good and healthy, and packaged right he should arrive just fine.
