I know it's fun to poke fun at, but rip cleans can actually be a nice tool in the arsenal.I was just reading up on rip cleaning my tank. That sounds fun and totally legit. Rip Clean party this weekend anyone? I'll bring the toothbrushes, you bring the salt!
Still not my cup of tea. Too much work.I know it's fun to poke fun at, but rip cleans can actually be a nice tool in the arsenal.
Moving a tank is essentially a ripclean.
It's nice to reset the scape and deep clean everything including the sand from time to time.
it can be a lot of work depending on the size. Smaller tanks are more manageable. I cant imagine doing a really large one. Seems like you would definitely need to be really patient and well organized. Neither of those are in my skill set.Still not my cup of tea. Too much work.

I guess when I set up the 125 I basically rip cleaned the 75 except the sand is still in the tank and the rock is outside in th dark soaking in saltwater to kill the algaes...it can be a lot of work depending on the size.
