I was just reading up on rip cleaning my tank. That sounds fun and totally legit. Rip Clean party this weekend anyone? I'll bring the toothbrushes, you bring the salt!

I know it's fun to poke fun at, but rip cleans can actually be a nice tool in the arsenal.

Moving a tank is essentially a ripclean.

It's nice to reset the scape and deep clean everything including the sand from time to time.

I'd like to say I have become close to an expert on rip cleans but since I keep having to do them, I believe that means I am no expert.

it can be a lot of work depending on the size. Smaller tanks are more manageable. I cant imagine doing a really large one. Seems like you would definitely need to be really patient and well organized. Neither of those are in my skill set.

I guess when I set up the 125 I basically rip cleaned the 75 except the sand is still in the tank and the rock is outside in th dark soaking in saltwater to kill the algaes...

I may change up and do Nachos, as opposed to tacos though.
