Here are the only two other pics I snapped shortly before I told him he had to exit the lanai.
Just size alone confirms it was a cane toad. Native toads are 4" max 99% of the time.Also, @Eagle_Steve and anyone who might know more info; the questionable toad in question was roughly 5 inches long and 3 inches wide. He was a pretty stout little guy! Or, maybe she was a girl!
