Very nice! These things are quite interesting. Any idea what species they are?
Anemonia manjano, so considered pest nems to most. But for a species only tank or a "Home for Hated Critters" tank like I have, they are an awesome addition. Also, if one was setting up a softy tank, they work great as fillers in them, as they do not sting zoas, leathers, etc.

I thought they were something else. Nice to find out what they are. Are they any significant risk to fish or motile invertebrates?

I'm considering hardy "invasive" corals for my tank at work to keep it lower maintenance, so they might make the list. Other types considered right now include blue clove polyps, green star polyps, pulsing xenia, Sarcophyton toadstools, maybe some mushrooms. If these manjano anemones make it into the R2R express as available, I may have to consider them as an addition if they will not harm the fish and motile invertebrates I want to keep.

Edit: Also, now I'm trying to figure out why Anemonia manjano is commonly known as "majano" anemones? I just noticed the spelling difference in your reply.

Edit 2: Pandora zoas are also on my list of considerations for the work desk tank.

If you don't care about invasive Sheet, go for it.

I Love Pandora's.. they are more verile than Peter North and Ron Jeremy combined. One becomes two becomes twelve becomes "where the eeff is my tank?"

Not a warning, just a heads up. I have them in the frag tank. They are on the mangrove/tube nem box because the tubes keep them in check, Almost.

They will do fine in that tank and are not much of a threat to most inverts or fish.

Yeah, I'm aware they are very invasive. That is part of the reason I want them if a battle between invasive corals helps keep the rocks covered. All of the considered species are ones I like for the appearance as well, though I am probably going to limit my decisions to only 3-4 species rather than trying them all.

I am curious if most of these could hold their own against each other or if one species will conquer all the others eventually...

I just need to get the tank upgrade accomplished before I start finalizing plans (hopefully next week, just need hose for the returns, make tank swap, install plumbing, and fill it up).

If you want Pandoras, don’t buy them, I have hundreds of them in the 25 lagoon. I can network them up to Frank if you want them

I also have some...
Me too lol. And gsp, and pulsing Xenia lol
Thanks for the confirmation that this is the place to check first for common corals!
I already planned to check here first and try to visit Frank at some point, but my primary build has taken forever.

I live ~4.5 hours from Frank, so I'll have to plan my trip accordingly when I'm ready...

@fishguy242 Do you ship corals if they could make it to you? I may be ready for corals in the work tank before I complete my primary build and schedule a visit. No problem if you don't want to do so, of course.
