He's not staying. I'm not doing a deep enough sand bed on any future tanks to want a sifter like that again either. Conch, goat, & star can handle it going forward.

using up here for now ,next day or so, get the big one going, put "cheapie" in bsmt window, checked will fit...

61% hum, 83 degrees, dehumidifier heating , 12'er 81.5 rest are under 80 venting tonight until air goes in .

The reason I have no hermits or mithrax, the last 6 hermits I added were in great form having cleared a tank at my lfs and were big, day two in and I saw the engineer backing into the scape with a hermit in it's mouth, I thought it might have been a moult but after a week I had no more hermits.

then opposite side of house lg AC giving probs...
new one is temp ?? going into kit...

finally dug out, and un insulated bsmt windows...

this is west ,new ac will go there if needed, is old coal chute,will double as wood chute for wood stove...

found the electrical department...at least it's in the house now...

meanwhile...off to finish a screen......

When large, they will eat small fish too. Mine in the frag tank ate some talbot damsels lol. Like, straight up ganked them when they swam near it's den lol.
