The damage really is superficial to the tentacles and I do not think it'll have any issue recovering.

Whoa, what kind of powerhead protectors do you use that are able to be stolen by an urchin? This strengthens my reasoning to make powerhead protectors like the one I designed and 3D-printed for my 30g tank that lock shut to fully encapsulate the power head.

Of course, I'm certainly not one to have any advice what to do for the nem.

Its really my fault the urchin was able to steal it. I knew the fishing line securing it on one side had been loosened by the cleaner shrimp. I watched it constantly try to dig under. The powerhead is now fully encapsulated.
