My new 689 gallons system!

Hi everyone, I'm Kenny from Vietnam and I'm in the process of building my new tank. I wanted to share the process with everyone and it would be great to hear some feedback from your experiences.
Show tank: 95x40x28: 440 gallons
With 79x32x18 sump: 190 gallons
32x32x14 frags tank: 59 gallons total: 689 gallons system
Electric lifting system for Led cabinet
Lighting: 8 Orphek natura and 4 90cm blue plus for display tank
2 orphek natura for frags tank
Calcium reactor Seatorch sm120
Skimmer octopus regal 300
Ozone reactor avastmarine
Return pump: 3 maxspect MJ 12k
Wavemaker: 2 MP 60, 2 MP40, 2 gyre maxspect xf350, 2 jebao eow22 for display and 2 gyre xf330 for fragstank
2 roller filter Seatorch

GHL khd and 6 ghl doser for trace element

I want to do them because my current tank is 79x36x26 full of corals and no frags tank, after 2 years of operation luckily the corals are growing fast from the frags, with the largest colony diameter being 18", along with some issues with the old sump system so I want to do the whole thing with the technical cabinet and frag tank. And I want to move the tank from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor. The plan is to move all the filtration media and aquascape up, along with some new small aquascape blocks to give more space for the corals. Maybe call it a change to a bigger house for the fish and corals. Haha

The new tank will be using 19mm super clear glass with braces around but no braces in the middle of the tank, the sump was expanded from 63x24x16 to 79x32x18 because I realized I needed a really larger sump. And I chose to use a UPVC settling tank designed by a company specializing in manufacturing UPVC products in Vietnam, the glass and my stand will be shipped to my house and assembled on site. I will update the pictures gradually. Hope to receive comments and shares from you. Below I will send some pictures of my tank from 15 months ago, 1 year ago and now. thank you for your interest in my topic. i have learned a lot in this forum since i started, i am very grateful for the things i have learned from here so i also want to start sharing what i am doing and ready to answer any questions with my own experience.

- Hello everyone. I want to update the new situation of the tank. Today they brought my stage, with the electrical cabinet, the tank stage frags. Next the glass company also brought the glass, and a company that designs automatic lifting systems for lights also brought it to install. The process of transporting the pieces was quite difficult because they were brought to the 2nd floor and the size was large. I hoped everything would be okay, and luckily so far there have been no problems. They have finished gluing the glass. Have to wait 4 days, they will glue the overflow box. After 2 days I will start running the water filter for 10 days to remove unwanted things... There is still a way to go before transferring the creatures from the old tank to the new one. Am I seeing this right? You’ll put all that weight on the second floor? Assume you’ve already consulted with a structural engineer? If so — cool! I would be very concerned but that’s just me.

Thanks for your interest, I will continue to update the construction status of my tank, the glass company has come to complete the euro brace, overflow, they will be back in 4 days to put the tank on the stage and install the water pipes. The upvc sump has been put under the tank, the filter roller has been put in and they are custom designed so they fit the sump. Although my old tank did not use filter sock or filter roller or any mechanical filter other than skimmer but with this new tank, I want to try them, have prepared 10 liter dose box for no3 and po4. I will not let my corals starve …. Hahaha
The light lift is installed and working. I have walled to avoid water vapor on the wall, the frag rack for the frag tank has also arrived. After 4 days all the work will be done and proceed to fill the tank. The plan is to run for 1 week with tap water after cleaning the glass and water pipes with vinegar. Then put the aquascape in the tank and cycle with some water from the old tank and some filter media transferred from the old tank every week for 4 weeks. Thanks for following my thread. Thanks for your advice. In my country, the whole construction is made of concrete and steel, so the load-bearing capacity will be better. I also own a construction company, so the safety issue will be fine. It's great that you care about the safety of the foundation, countries that build houses with wood or other materials will really care about this issue.

I will put the sump under the tank and I made the stage I made 1m high, there will be no difficulty for maintenance. My old tank has a sump room but on my 2nd floor there is no space to do that. bro

hi guys, been quite busy these past few days, i would like to update the status of the new tank. currently completed and cycling. new aquascape with some old rocks from the old tank and 40% water. this sunday i will proceed to transfer the tank. the plan is to drain 50% of the new tank to get all the water from the old tank and put it in with the old filter media. i changed my mind and will use 2 ati sunpower t5ho 54x8 with 8 orphek or4 ledbars for the new tank and only use orphek natura with 2 or4 ledbars for the frag tank. this sunday will be a lot of work because i have to transfer the equipment and all the corals from the old tank. hope my corals and fish will be happy in the new tank without any damage.
