I have a really small nano tank 12inch by 12inch cube.
On july 10th the levels are as followed
Salinity : 35
KH : 8.9
Magnesium : 1290
Cal :550
Phosphate : 0.1
Nitrates : 2.5
Today the levels are as followed
Salinity : 35
KH : 10.1
Magnesium : 1275
Cal : 550
Phosphate : 0.1
Nitrates : 2.5
I do around 600 ml water change daily also some manual top up to my water line.
I feed Red Sea A+B as well daily 0.4ml
It seems like my calcium and magnesium does not get used by my corals is that a big problem?
I have 2 torches that open up but not fully.
1 hammer that opens up fully.
2 Zoas that are fully closed for 2 days now.
1 Duncan that opened up 1 day out of 3 days continuously.
2 Flower pot that open up but not fully as well.
I got the duncan and hammer 2 weeks ago while the rest have been with me for 1 week.
Do you guys think I should stop doing daily water change and only top up and see where the levels are for next week. Or just continue what I have been doing and see if they will open up more and use the nutrients ?
Thanks Pontuskor
