I can seem to get mine to settle on the rocks in my tank..nice specimens . but they stayed put about 2 days , then climbed up the glass...and there they stay

I can seem to get mine to settle on the rocks in my tank..nice specimens . but they stayed put about 2 days , then climbed up the glass...and there they stay
Typical for some anemones.
I placed mine where it is and it has not moved. I should not have said that as now it will probably take a walk, lol.

Mine can't get to the glass without climbing down then across.

Mine can't get to the glass without climbing down then across.
That is the way to keep him there without optimal light and current as long as it is close enough. However, if the condition is too bad, he will inflated his foot, let go and flow away…. to the PH or overflow in our tanks.

Am fully aware of Magnifica needs requirements after 40 years of keeping keeping a few of them. Correct water, flow, perch and lighting. All of which I believe I have provided for this beauty.

Am fully aware of Magnifica needs requirements after 40 years of keeping keeping a few of them. Correct water, flow, perch and lighting. All of which I believe I have provided for this beauty.
I did not mean to say that you don’t know, because you obviously do. Your anemone is doing great. I just comment on that is the best way to do it. That would be how I do it also. I keep smaller Magnifica in a 30 gal cube successfully using that particular method and arrangement if the tank.
Very nice and healthy Magnifica.
