Hey All! I wanted to document what will be my last build as I'm in my 60's and it's a little harder for me to maintain my tanks. I've been doing saltwater/reef tanks since 1982. This build is a 120 gallon and I want to make it a mixed reef. I constructed the stand and hood. It contains about 80 lbs. of Marco rocks that I made into the aquascape you see. There's 100 lbs. of Carib-Sea Fiji Pink Sand. The sump is a Trigger Systems Ruby. I use 2 Eshopps PF-800 overflows to feed the sump. There's a Bubble Magus Curve 7 Elite protein skimmer and a Reef Octopus VarioS 4 return pump. I use 2 300w Finnex Titanium heaters. I use a 10 gallon Trigger Systems ATO reservoir with a Tunze 3152 ATO and a Neptune MOS sensor to let me know when I'm low on RODI water. I just installed an Aqua UV sterilizer being fed by an external Jecod (Jebao) MDC 5000 pump. I also set up a CO2 scrubber with humidifier to raise my PH. My controller is the Neptune ApexEL. The lighting is a 48 inch AquaticLife Hybrid with 2 ATI blue plus and 2 ATI coral plus T5 bulbs along with 2 Kessil A360X LED light fixtures. Lights haven't been turned on yet. The cycle just completed so now I'm on the way to filling up my tank with fish and coral. Five jars of Galaxy Pods from Algae Barn were added to help with the ugly phase. Thanks to R2R and the great people on this site with all the valuable knowledge!!
