I think it’s time do some work on the tank. Scape wise especially . Melanurus has its hides hole and keeps upending the small torch I have nearby. And the snails are pushing up a few frags in the sand .

How is the torch attached? Or is the mel upending the entire rock?

It’s just in the sand on a plug. I’ve got a few things in mind . Here’s a pic of the spot. It’s in front of the tall Indo . There’s the rocks that you can just see in the middle right. I’m thinking about gluing it there above the cotton candy torch.

Well should’ve moved that small torch earlier. This morning it was decidedly unhappy and upended. Noticed some skeleton exposed. Not mounting right now but did move out of harms way. Still alive, will keep an extra eye on it. Bunch of my Gonis .And Euphyllia garden.

And……here’s why maybe I should wait til the end of the day to post things in the thread. Did a bunch of changes. Nothing wholesale, but had enough of my cerith snails popping up the new Goni frags so they're now secured. Also moved a torch onto the rocks so it’s overlooking the others. And a few more Goni moves.

The corals are looking grate as always. Won’t be too long and you will be heading for tank of the month nominations. As I have said before just going to get better and better over time. The thing with your reef when you look at it there’s something catching your eye all the time . I have always rated this reef to become one of the top reefs keep up the good work Steve . Goni let us know when your new coral arrives so we can all have a peak

FTS/FTS combo plus the usual big badda boom of pics. Moved the cotton candy on the left side near the other on the rocks after most of the pics taken.

Everything looks pretty good except my large toadstool and one Goni . The leather is alive but not extending out and the Goni is balled up, not totally . Pics of most of the Gonis

Thought there might of been a bit of war fare going on. But if the toad stool is no were near them . I have a mixed anemone tank and I run carbon in case of any problems . Hope they sort there selves out for you

Haha(not), my xl Turbo snail decided that the tank needed redecorating (at least I’m pretty sure it was him/it?) . Found some my scape on the right side slid down in back(Had a large flat piece laying in top of another) and since I haven’t secured it down…. A few corals dislodged like the poci and one smaller micro lord, but nothing crushed or anything as far as I can tell. Will be able further assess tomorrow. Ironically I was intending a doing a managed rock shuffle myself.

Did a few changes . Biggest was moving the slab that fell off the spot and putting it in a slightly lower and more stable position.

New look (slightly). Rocks shifted around a bit. The big precarious slab moved to lower/back/middle. One unfortunate thing that I found, which was unrelated, was the reason why my toadstool was looking bad. It was rotting inside, starting with stem. Didn’t feel it wasn’t going to survive and I don’t have a separate quarantine tank so I took it out. I still have 2 small toadstools that were given to me a little while back, but I’m going to miss it. Decided to create a small upper level Goni Garden on the upper right as well. Gonis seem to be fine with the higher PAR levels.
