After years of dreaming of keeping Marine fish today was the day I got my first Marine fish ! I was going to get Percula clowns as I went a couple of days ago checking out the LFS to see what was on offer.. I see these 2 Perculas and one of them was getting bullied and felt sorry for him .. I had my heart set on those ! Today I went to 4 different places but the Perculas were still top choice over the designer clowns .. so back to the first shop (as you do) only to find my Perculas were chasing everything in the tank .. I was in the shop a good hour trying to decide .. looking at black ice , other Ocellaris's etc.. even Orange storm ££££ ! .. I spotted 2 Picasso's when I first walked in (only selling as a pair) , I thought they look really nice ! After the Perculas turned into Mike Tyson wannabes the Picasso's were now top choice .. they seemed quite peaceful ! .. after walking up and down for ages i kept going back to the Picasso's.. eventually I decided they were the ones !
After doing the usual to get them into the tank, they just stayed in the corner .. thought quite normal after what I read and seen on you tube .. After half hour they were still there .. I turned off the wave maker but left the pump on and within a few minutes they were investigating everywhere .. gave it another hour and feed them a small meal which they ate quickly ! ..
I'm so pleased with my new fish ..
I know its kind of basic for most but a big thing for me
