I’m new to the world of Saltwater aquariums (had a freshwater tank for many years when I was a teenager)… anyway I went for it.
Having added the first occupants over the weekend I decided it was finally time to post it.
Equipment:
- Skimmer: Nyos quantum 120 (struggling to dial it in, but will get it eventually)
- Pump: Ecotech Marin Vectra 2
- Roller: Reef factory smart roller M
- Lights: AI Prime 16HD Black
- Flow pump: Neptune Apex Wav
- ATO: Red Sea Reef ATO
- Controller: Neptune Apex EL

Looks awesome, congrats!

I'm not experienced so don't take this as gospel: You may want to leave the skimmer and roll entirely off or very low for awhile to let the tank build up its TOC and DOC nutrient stores on the new tank and rock.

You are absolutely correct, that pic was snapped right after a 10 day One and Only cycle. Turned off the skimmer and roller during that time.

This looks great! What is it that you've attached the controllers to? Is that aluminium?
