When I kept magnifica it was under 400 watt Radions with 20k spectrum...it grew extremely large.....and was healthy as horse.... I do not think it was the yellow 6500 spectrum as these were 20k blue...?????Thanks, Yes I am hypothesizing about my mags light requirement and if anything my PAR may have been too low for it rather than too high asI have only added to the light the Radion gives it the Radion is still above the nem as before. I just don't think my nem was getting enough of the daylight spectrum and I have added to that now with the ASTA20 6500k LED. My nem seems happy in its original position with the added 6500k. Maybe H.magnifica's although all being the same species some have adapted to bluer light while others found much nearer the surface enjoy more of the white spectrum my 6500k is now providing to their satisfaction.
The clowns may be collected as wellThey are very common and easy to collect (shallow waters and they prefer flat surfaces), but there's little demand for them.
I wonder what happens to the clowns...
