I pickup this little cube from my LFS a couple weeks ago. It is suppose to have low FE glass; but I can't tell. Doing a leak test; the glass is so thin.

Also, got a MH from Craigslist. 150 watts with 14k DE bulbs. I am going to go without a skimmer. Let's see how it go.

Thanks Ryan :D Not too sure at this point, but definately starting out with a Hector's goby . Since I am not running a skimmer; gonna have to keep the bioload really light.

This was an impluse purchase :squigglemouth: (I need to stop going to the fish store). This time I am not going to add any corals till the coraline algae is establish.

Very Nice!

What fish do you plan on keeping in there??? What corals?

I picked this up from a garage sale; using it as a wavemaker. Hopefully it won't kill my Koralias.

Thanks, hookedonreef-er :D

Just a quick update, got some sands from F&S. Black sands seem like a good idea at the time. I am not too sure, wat u think?

Thanks John. Hopefully it will looks as good as yours:D
that is a cool little tank!

Thanks :D Trying to steal some ideas from others. I want a low maintenance tank; I am leaning to a Zoas/Paly garden. Maybe some LPS on the floor...

BTW, I luv your light.
Looking good! Interesting build. Taggin' along for sure on this one....VERY interested in how you stock this tank.....keep this thread updated! Great start!

Parameter readings are good.

What kind of auto top off are you'all using? There is about a Liter water loss thru evoporation a day.

Got to stop surfing R2R; way too many temptaton of good deal. Just brought a pack from Mr. Coral that shoud fill up the cube quick :D
