Thanks
Love your mangrove :)
I rescued it;). It has taken about 10 months to start grown leaves, and in the past month the leaves are really starting to sprout. I picked it up at the beach we were married at.:)

Well I tried to get my BTA's out for the reason the were killing everything around them. Got almost all of one out and mutilated the other pretty bad. So not a have a mutated BTA and a piece that looks like they will come back. I am going to still get them out and replace them with a carpet anemone or two carpet anemone that only get to 5 inches for the clown to live in. I also may just pull the trigger and get a niger trigger.

Today numbers
Ca 423
Mg 1400
Alk 7.7 going to dose again
phosphates .01
Nitrates 8ppm going to add a little more life bio fil to the mix to bring them down a tad.

Jsker,
Looking forward to your carpet anemone. Never had one over here.

I've seen ;Wideyed reefers that use ice cubes at the foot of a BTA to get them to release the BTA's foot.

Your parameters are looking pretty darn good :)

Once the set there foot, they will stay. With a bear bottom place some large pies of rock on the bottom, once the anemone stops moving from rock to rock then remove the extra rocks.

A little history: I have had a few fresh water tanks and have had 3 salt water setups to date. Is a move tank, considering a setup? The tanks were in different cities 35 gal and a 150 in St. Louis. I had my moving tank, a 75 oceanic. That tank was in Chicago, New York, Boston, Florida. I would get transferred and depending on the situation of finding housing and move time, (load and unload) I would pack my live rock and the hearty live stock(fish) in a cooler and move. It got to the point that I would have the rock and fish in a cooler for a month at a time in a hotel room with a power head and everything survived, even with my cat Samantha in the room

I'm totally late to the party, but that stand is phenomenal! :D Your moving tank is quite the feat! Good job.

Any updates for this system? Been a couple years... haha

Thank you, Major updates or just updates? Since I have left it alone, the system is doing great. I am still waiting for a piece of equipment to be released for the auto water change.
