Hope this works, doing it on my phone. Full tank shots shot with my phone. It's a 40 breeder with a matching sump and a refugium that is also about 40 gallons. Guess at that size it is more of a saltwater planted tank lol. I have two 175W XM metal halides on it. I'll upload some close ups and top downs after the meeting

The one above was a brown $15 frag from BSL and is really becoming nice. Now that I think of it, a lot of mine are "let's see what this will turn into" frags LOL Here is a top down and the coral in the prior pic is on the left/center.

Another purple frag

These are all under 10K bulbs with no actinics. The 175W halides are about 15" above the water and the tank is only about 14" deep. I've always found that I get more growth under 10k's and I'm fine as long as there is no algae to fight, though I might not get full color until I go to a higher Kelvin bulb. I use BRS 2 part to dose and once I get my 150 gallon set back up these will all migrate over and I'll convert this tank group over to a frag system.

Now that is what I am talking about. We just need more members to start a thread to share their tank and info with us. Nice job.

What are you shooting with now Matt? I work with Howell so I hear about your tank and cameras on occasion LOL I had a 7D and 50d for a couple years, but sold most of my kit off. Then I couldn't be without a dslr so picked up a T4i before Christmas. You shoot Nikon don't you?

I don't take many pictures, except with my iphone. I sold my camera to Hal. I am partial to Nikon though.

I'll get some pics of the setup too, though I de-skinned the stand to re work it. I dose 10ml of 2 part alk and calcium daily though I'm increasing the alk to raise up from 2.5 meq to closer to 4. I dose 5ml of mag every other week. Spirulina brine every day with either oyster eggs or cyclopseeze. The clowns cardinals and the sailfin all eat the frozen readily which make me happy. I do mix formula 1 or 2 frozen into mix and another I can't think of at the moment on occasion. The sailfin also get a piece of dried red algae to pick at to supplement the red algae he keeps mowed down on my rock work. The bubble tip and overly sized starfish get target fed krill or silversides every few days. I do a 25 gallon water change once a week or if something looks a little unhappy. I test rarely since I use a lot of the highly scientific "that don't look right technique" lol
