so since the MXM doesn't have settings like sync, anti-sync, and back on release (i have one, it's not available) how do we do settings like nutrient transport or pulse with pumps on opposite ends of the tank so they work together? or are settings like that obsolete now?

I believe all the modes we know and love will be added at a later date. They are all in the WXM so I dont see why they wont be in the MXM.

Okay, I gave it a try and the sync and anti-sync settings were there. However, my four pumps would not sync or anti-sync no matter what. I tried reset it a few times, etc.

Disappointing. And not really worth the discussion with their support.

Did you select the sync and antisync pumps and did you add your program to the sync pumps how you wanted them and did you copy that program to the antisync pumps and did you program each of the points in the antisync pump to 100%?

Yes. Except the 100%

I need those pumps running less than the outer ones

The slave pumps need to be set at 100% sync or unsync for them to work properly and as expected. Doing this doesn't mean that they will run at 100% just at 100% sync or unsync at the given points of the main pump. The master pump is the one that needs the proper %. The slaves need the same points as the master but with the %'s set to 100. Thats the way neptune logic works.

I'll give it a try.

That should be working. Are you checking the pumps to see if they are ramping up and down by placing your hand infront of the pump?

Your drivers are orange right? Do the indicators move at all? I would try a simple program. Like put the master in a pulse mode... and nothing else. 50% and 2 seconds. Put the slave in antisync at 100%. See if that works. You said you have 4 pumps... you sure your selected the correct master/slave?

I tried as a sample only using two of the four pumps.

What happens is the slave pump goes into reefcrest for a few minutes. Then it goes back into standby, which is set in Mobius at constant at 10%.

I am using the indicator lights on the control for the pumps to determine what mode it's in.

Thanks, by the way for giving this a look!

At the end of the day, the only real advantage is being able to turn them off with the flick of the switch on the apex screen. Mobius still hasn't gotten a turn the pumps off button.

Once you give the keys to the MXM it should not matter what mobius says. Are all the pumps added into the MXM in Mobius.

You can actually do much more now that Apex is controlling them. I can do feed mode. When my feeder goes off my pumps slow down. I can turn both off when I click on "A" if I needed to do anything in the tank or needed to clean the wet sides. When maintenance or water change they turn off with everything else. My XR15s the same. I have photo mode which it will go into so I can take pics.. If the temp gets too hot they will lower intensity. All on its own. Sure some of this can be done in Mobius but it takes a few additional steps.

I swear all the mxm issues are caused by Mobius. You might have to disable that in Mobius.
