Mushroom ID

New to reefing and have one mushroom but found this floating around my tank. Is this a mushroom, sponge or something else.

I can't really see what it is. Do you have a different picture? If it's still in your tank, you could put it on a white paper towel for easier identification.

Looking at it out of the water pretty sure it’s. It a mushroom. It’s pretty rigid and the ringing is stumping me. I am still curious of what it is and how it got here
