4 weeks ago I acquired a Deadpool Mushroom. The mushroom was not attached when I received it, so I placed it in a small cup with rubble until it attached. I removed it from the cup and placed it in the corner of my standard 29 gallon tank (low light). I have a single Hydra 26hd lighting the tank.

Since placing it in my tank it has never seemed to be “happy”. The mushroom never lays flat, and always seems to be scrunched up. My other shrooms (wwc bounce, jawbreaker, and kryptonite) all are very happy.

What could be the reason this mushroom won’t lay flat? Is this something to be concern about?

Mine seem to react this way if they get too much light. My orange mushrooms really seem to prefer being under an overhang or they get mad and look like this.
I will try to put it in a lower light area. I have an overhang and a shady corner that have lower light than where it is at.
