We got Cyano or Dino’s blooming in the waterbox 70.3...

I was able to knock back the Dino and Cyano by elevating nitrates, reducing fuge light by 6 hours and adding microbacter7!

New update on my waterbox build! Trying to control green hair algae and showing off some of my new sticks from RAP!

Tank is doing good. Just battling different algae and bacteria outbreaks that always seem to happen in a new system. Zoas are really taking off! The sps are showing a little growth but more importantly they are coloring up.

Can you tell me how much space is in the cabinet area where the sump resides? With the support pieces I’m not getting a straight measurement from the online information.I have an upgraded sump that is just under 34” and I’m hoping it will squeeze in. If not I will have to get something else on order. Enjoy the videos, and what sold me on the 70.3!

Well looks like I got black bugs ‍‍‍♂

Dealing with some algae and Cyano issues after treating the bugs. Sps are coloring back up, but there is a lot of excess nutrients from all the microfauna die off. I will say dr Gs coral dip is the real deal. I would definitely recommend it for dealing with bugs.

Hey. I got a 70.3 too. Love the thread. What intensity do you run your lights? I have 2 xr15 G4 Pros and they seem to be too powerful even when I set them at 15% intensity.

I think I run them at about 70% now. I have diffusers on the lights and have never tested par but I have zoas on the bottom of the tank that are reaching. I started out running them at 50%, wasn’t enough with the diffusers.

New update... I have gone back to basics and stopped dosing pretty much anything besides ca and alk.
