Just changed out my gyre that was dying to an mp40-was told start with one and can always add a second-mixed reef-180g

Seems like my gyre just wanted to push water and push water across

Have mp40 on reefcrest and it seems like it is allowing the corals more of a swaying movement, vs a shaking rigidly back and forth-only running the mp40 about 1/2 power-

Anyone with experience with mp40-and reefcrest setting/

It just seems like this is allowing the corals to be more natural if thats a thing

I run 2 MP40s at a max intensity setting of 26% on a 36x22x22 tank on reefcrest. My corals thrive. My MP40s are also very decorative with a nice covering of zoas. Haven't touched or cleaned them in 3.5 years.
